We have 12+ years of international house and pet sitting experience, having cared for over 100 pets around the world. Prior to becoming full-time travellers, we were home owners who shared our home with 10 dogs, 4 cats and an albino mouse named Charlie over the years.

We are comfortable with young as well as senior animals, and we have administered special foods, pills, eye drops, inhalers, and insulin for our furry friends. Communication
How often would you like us to communicate with you? We're happy to provide pictures and updates as often as you like. We love meeting prospective pet sit hosts over video calls to get to know you, and we confirm the details of the sit in the days and weeks before the sit starts, to ensure we're all on the same page.

We both spent our careers in highly-regulated industries, so we've had background checks run on us every few years for more than twenty years with no negative findings. Flexibility
As full-time travelers, we not bound by typical schedules. We usually arrive at least 1 day prior to the start of sit and do not depart the area for at least 1 day after the sit. All to minimize stress before and after you trip, and ensure your pets are well cared for even if you're delayed coming home.
Industry Knowledge
Karen has worked for Trusted Housesitters for several years, to spread the word about the joys of pet sitting for both pet parents and pet sitters. We are comfortable working with new pet parents and are able to assist in the process, making your pet sit stress-free be it your first pet sit or your tenth.
