President Statues: Statues of 42 presidents located on the downtown corners of Main and St. Joseph Streets. Self-guided walking tours available on-line at https://presidentsrc.com/

Memorial Park: Large city park along Rapid Creek between downtown and the convention center. Includes Berlin Wall exhibit, well-lit promenade walkway with variety of sculptures, and small amphitheater which often hosts musical performances.

The Journey Museum & Learning Center: (222 New York St) – Black Hills history and Native American culture includes geology, paleontology, Native American creation stories, and human history from Native Americans to pioneers.

Tinder Box: Sep 23, 24 – Sivan Hoch (8p-10p, jazz saxophonist)
Pumpkin Festival: Saturday, Sep 24 10am – 4pm / Main Street Square – 14th annual festival with 60+ vendor booths will feature local produce and goods. Come see weigh-in contests for the largest pumpkin.  Free event.
Performing Arts Center Rapid City: “Average Family” by South Dakota native and 2020 MacArthur Genius Grant Recipient, Larissa FastHorse (Studio Theater, tickets prices vary by seat location). Sep 23, 24 – 7:30pm, Sep 25 – 2pm.
